Adult Sunday School:

 
New Bible study class for adults, starting April 15, between services (10:20-10:50) in the library, Rm. 10.  First topic: the Gospel of Mark.  Teacher on DVD, Dr. James "Mickey" Efird.  Child care in Rm. 5.  Lectures are 20-25 mins. long.  
 
Dr. James “Mickey” Efird is Professor Emeritus at Duke Divinity School, having taught thousands of seminarians Greek and Biblical studies. Most say Mickey is their favorite Bible teacher, combining the knowledge of a scholar with communications skills that make his teaching easy to understand.

The Gospel of Mark is an exciting, challenging, informative and inspiring study.  Mark was one of the first Gospels recorded and the one used as the basis for the other Gospel writers.
