As you probably saw each Sunday, the garden produced a bumper crop for all involved. This was, and will continue to be, a wonderful outreach for our church. They put out a survey recently and here are a few things you need to see. One said, "for me the biggest success was in learning how easy it was to grow vegetables and seeing them thrive." Another wrote "Great Harvest!" and "meeting people from community" was one of the successes. And lastly, "a nice location to choose - those of us with kids felt safe there and they enjoyed playing of the play structure. The people I met from the church were very welcoming also." I am sure I speak for all involved when I say - THANK YOU!!!

Milwaukie Community Gardens meets at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at Ledding Library, 10660 SE 21st Ave.
