Save the Date: October 16 Domestic Violence Survivor Housing Open House!

Dear St Paul's,

With a deep sense of joy I invite you to a Celebration Assembly for the opening of the first Survivor House for victims of DV.  It will be a fine demonstation of what the Metropolitan Alliance for Common Good (MACG) can do right here in Clackamas County.

The first six ladies moved in Aug. 14 and began to live according to the Oxford House model. It is working well, according to two of the residents whom I met while delivering additional furnishings. Another three will come in just a bit after finishing touches are made on the three bedrooms installed in the remodelled double garage.

I hope all is well with you and at St. Paul UMC.   Do feel free to invite others to attend.

Stan Aschenbrenner
